Privacy Policy for OpenClaw gog
Last updated: October 8, 2026
1. About this application
OpenClaw gog is a privately operated, self-hosted assistant integration for Google Workspace. It is intended for personal use by its operator and explicitly authorized Google account holders, not as a public consumer service.
2. Google data the application may access
With the account holder's OAuth authorization, the application may access data from Gmail (messages and metadata), Google Calendar (events), Google Drive (files and their contents), Google Contacts, Google Tasks, and Google Sheets. The specific data accessible depends on the permissions granted and features enabled.
3. How Google data is used
Google data is used to carry out requests made by the account holder or automations configured by the account holder. These functions may include searching and summarizing emails or documents, preparing briefings, checking calendars, and creating or updating Google Workspace items when authorized. Data is not used for advertising, marketing, or sale to data brokers.
4. Storage and retention
OAuth credentials, configuration, and some application data are stored on infrastructure controlled by the operator. Conversation history, selected Google content, generated summaries, operational logs, and backups may also be retained to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain the application. Retention and deletion are managed by the operator; revoking Google access does not automatically delete data already stored in the application or its backups.
5. Third-party processing and sharing
To fulfill authorized assistant requests, relevant Google data, including message text, calendar details, or document excerpts, may be sent to AI model providers selected in the application's configuration. Such providers process the submitted information under their applicable terms and privacy policies. The application does not sell Google user data or provide it to advertising platforms or data brokers, and does not independently use Google user data to train general-purpose AI models. Google data is otherwise shared only as necessary to operate the requested features or comply with applicable law.
6. Security
The operator is responsible for restricting access to the application, its credentials, and its stored data and for maintaining reasonable technical security measures. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
7. Access revocation and deletion
Google account holders can revoke access at Google Account — Third-party connections. To request removal of locally retained information, contact the operator using the address below. The operator can remove local records and credentials, subject to the retention lifecycle of existing backups and any independent retention by external service providers.
8. Google API data policy
Use of information received from Google APIs is intended to comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements. Any material change to data practices will be reflected in this policy.
